MAG-LED 3 D Cell Torch

The Maglite LED 3 D-Cell is probably the most popular size of torch, using 3 D-Cell batteries to produce a very bright beam that lasts for hours. The torch is reasonably heavy and suited to a wide range of purposes including domestic use, outdoor pursuits, security or industrial applications and is often the torch chosen by the emergency services. A fantastic all-round LED torch that is well balanced for durability and battery life, that is big and chunky, yet light enough to carry around.

The LED 3 D-Cell Maglite torch is constucted from high-grade aluminium alloy that is externally anodised for extra protection and the torch is fitted with high quality rubber seals and sealed rubber power switch to provide excellent water resistance. The torch power switch has on/off and intermittent (flash) beam functions.

The LED torch beam can be focussed from bright spot light mode to wide angle flood light by operating the smoothly rotating lens end of the torch. This simple function makes this torch suitable for a wide range of applications.

Maglite LED torches utilise a Light Emitting Diode rather than the traditional torch bulb and offer a lifetime of around 100,000 hours per LED and around 4 times longer battery life than conventional torches. The Maglite LED torches produce a much brighter and crisper torch beam than traditional bulbs.

Each maglite is produced with a unique serial number engraved into the torch barrel.
